ÀúOk, all of the previous remarks apply not only to the demo version but the real version of TMM 4.0 as well. Now for the specifics on the demo version: we pondered long and hard on what would be the best way to provide a demo, or crippled copy of TMM to prospective users, and we feel like we came up with something that should work pretty well: this version allows you to work with the first three sections of your message base. We think that since you will have access to all functions except for backup, you will be able to fairly judge if TMM is right for you. The real version of TMM 4.0 also includes full online documentation in the Help window.
ÀúSo use TMM for awhile on your first three sections - traverse through them, reply to msgs, etc, etc, and if you don't soon discover that TMM is the product you've been waiting for, then please take it and pass it onto someone else who you think might find it more useful. We only ask that you send the original StuffIt'ed demo file so that it will not have your configuration parameters and it will include the pertinent textfiles along with it (like this one!)
ÀúWe encourage you to explore the demo thoroughly to get a full understanding of all that it can do for you. TMM is far from a simple utility - in reality it is a suite of utilities all accessible from within the same environment. We do hope that you will find TMM to be as indispensible as we always have, and that it saves you much time and many headaches in maintaining your BBS. Afterall, very few of us actually make money running BBS's, so we might as well not have to go thru hell just to maintain it.
